Be Brunch ready with Strawberry French Toast

The best thing about this strawberry splashed french toast is it's completely low maintenance factor. You can do all the preparation the night before and just wake up to bake! Grab the ingredients to stir up your taste buds! 

-325g (2 cups) sliced strawberries

-1 loaf french bread

-15g (2 tbsp) Premium Icing Sugar by Trust

-8 large eggs

-480ml (2 cups) whole milk

-133g (0.75 cup) Sunehra Mineral Brown Sugar by Trust

-224g softened cream cheese block 

-0.5tsp ground cinnamon

-2tsp vanilla extract


Get ready for a weekend brunch! 


  • Whisk the cream cheese and combine icing sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to it. Premium Icing Sugar by Trust blends like sweet magic with your flavours and enhances the creamy texture. Take another bowl and mix milk, eggs, ground cinnamon, brown sugar and the remaining vanilla extract together until combined.


  • Grease a baking pan and spread half of the sliced bread pieces on it. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture on top of these bread slices. Add most of the strawberries and the remaining bread pieces. Pour the brown sugar mixture over the bread and cover it up to refrigerate for 3 hours-overnight.   • Remove the baking pan from the refrigerator and preheat your oven to 177°C (350°F). Bake the breads uncovered for 45-55 minutes or until they turn golden brown on top. If your bread starts browning too fast, loosely cover the pan with some aluminum foil.
